A year later, still a wonderful car
Pros:
A blast. Problem free after a year, quick and fun to drive.
Cons:
Has started squeaking a bit. Getting an automatic means alot less power.
The Bottom Line:
Great car. Avoid the automatic unless you really need it.

Author's Review
I bought this car over a year ago and it is still a great car. My previous car was a Honda and my experience has been that Honda/Acura is as reliable as it gets. It's super cute, pretty cheap, and moderately powerful. I compared it against a lot of other sporty cars and thought it had just the right combination of cute, power, price, and reliability. If I could have waited until 2006 I might have chosen the 2006 Civic, which looks a lot like the RSX but is more powerful, but at the time I couldn't really wait, and I certainly don't regret it.
One year later, I see no real problems to speak of. Mine is an automatic, so it is not nearly as quick as the manual ones (there is no point in having VTech since the automatic won't really let you use it) but it is quick enough for my tastes.
It has started squeaking a bit internally from the console area when I go over choppy ground. Also, I have had to replace the brakes once already. I may be a bit of an aggressive driver (a trait this car has encourged) but that is still really really soon. It does have some nasty blindspots, since the rear windows are esentially useless. And being as tall as I am, it's really just a three seater, as long as you don't have two tall friends.
