Ist to Die

Date of Review: Mar 13, 2002

The Bottom Line:  Do not read...trash, trash, trash. Is there somewhere where I can get a refund for the cost of the book and the time I spent reading it?
The only reason to read this book is to enjoy once again a story set in San Francisco. Otherwise, stay far away from this trite piece of trash.

It reads worse than 'Pearl Harbor' was to watch... superficial characters in an entirely predictable plot surrounded by gratuitous violence and sex.

The 'Epilogue' reminded me of a scene following an organ sting from 'All My Children'...you've got to be kidding. Mr. Patterson, did the editor make you do it? Surely you saw the error of your ways.

I understand that this is the first in a new series...I hope Mr. Patterson has his mortgage paid in full because cash flow will definitely be an issue.
