1-2-3 Magic brought back the peace!

My biggest problem with raising my daughter so far has been the fact that she doesnt listen and that she doesnt take me seriously when I tell her than she is going to get into trouble. Who could blame her? I was very wishy-washy when it came to disciplining her.

Then one day, my cousin told me about 1-2-3 Magic and how it had worked wonders for not only her, but her sister in law with 3 ADD children all under the age of 10. I thought to myself, "why not?" and I went out about a week later and bought the book for myself.

After reading through the book the first time, I thought that the method was too simple, and that there is no way that something THAT simple could possibly work as well as everyone had said. I am so very glad that I was wrong! It is the simplicity of the program that allows it to work so very well. It takes all of the "grey area" out of discipline and gives you the upper hand without threats, spankings, etc. It gives clear consequences for the actions, and helps take away any arguments.

I completely recommend this book to every parent.
