For You Blue

Unquestionably, the Beatles most creative period. The post Sgt Pepper psychedelic era brought new experimental works for the Beatles. They had grown tired of touring at this point, and were looking forward to dedicate their work in the studio. Unfortunately this new found creativity may have been the demise of the Beatles.

This album is full of wonderful tracks, from the great rockers like Come Together, Revolution and Get Back to the Harrison' ballads, Here Comes The Sun and Something, a little "Something" for everyone. The wide spectrum of these songs will leave you wondering if these songs were worked on as a group or more has independent projects, where the other 3 members were dragged in to play as studio musician.

All in all a great collection of Beatle hits, once again the only flaw was lack of room for other great material from that era.

One thing to look for : "A Day In The Life" has a clean beginning on this album unlike the Pepper Album. The only album this track appears in this manner.

Also, record collectors may seek out the blue vinyl edition, highly collectible.
