Man of Many Morals

Johnny Cash is rated very high on my list in country music. His album is mostly like the ones of days gone by. He is a man that sings from the heart and sings of things of truth. He shares much of his life with us through his music. He lets us know he was not always a good person in his younger days. Yet, through his music, he tells us of some of the reasons he changed and things that made him change. I grew up listening to Johnny Cash, Hank Snow, Merle Haggard, and many more of the people that are the roots of our country music. As a child I loved to listen to country music because of the words more so than the music. Johnny Cash brought out the most wonderful sounds in gospel music as well. He can sing gospel like not many others can. Known as "The Man In Black", he went on to marry a wonderful lady, June Carter. They brought more wonderful music to us all. My only regrets is that our radio stations have shut out all of our real legends of country music. As if they were already gone. I think we should keep them very much alive and buy and play their music and share our opinions with others. Johnny Cash may not be at the top of the Country Music Charts, but he is certainly at the top of mine. I hope he will continue to bring us the wonderful music that he has done for years. I hope you will buy and listen to at least one of his cd's or tapes. Whether it be country or country gospel. I'm sure all the enjoyment will be yours.
