Fans of the best German submarine movie ever made will appreciate Silent Hunter III. This game captures the difficulty in patrolling the North Atlantic as a Uboat skipper during WWII. I strongly recommended "starting low and going slow" - meaning, use the easiest patrol options in order to get a feel for how to handle the sub during combat scenarios before moving up in difficulty.
