Have you always dreamed of running an amusement park? With RollerCoaster Tycoon 2, you can! But be prepared, it might not be as easy to run one as you thought.
What do you want in the park? You decide, cause it's your park. Pick from roller-coasters, go-karts, scramblers, merry-go-rounds, observation towers and more.
I love designing and building roller-coasters; it is simple enough to do, though not always so simple to get the customers to like them.
My very favorite thing to design are go-karts, cause the customers love any type of them.
I enjoy decorating my park, because of the scenery that is available.
I love how all of the customers have their own personality; and also how you can "get into their heads" and see what they are thinking about the rides, the scenery, or your park in general.
I love that you can "build your own Six Flags", though I'm sad that you can't build your own Six Flags 'Great America'. It also includes really cool pre-designed coasters that are relics of real coasters at some Six Flags parks.
I enjoy the challenge of trying to beat a scenario, that way you are not just playing for nothing. ;)
Great for anyone, easy enough for young children, yet fun enough for teens and adults.
Could also work as a learning tool for managing a business and for managing money.
RollerCoaster Tycoon 2 is a very enjoyable game - one of my two favorites.
RollerCoaster Tycoon was one of the first pc games that I remember ever playing - a big step up from the classic games I played on our Atari console :) - RollerCoaster Tycoon 2 is a great sequel to the original game.
