Introduction
Devil May Cry 3 is quite possibly the best action game out to date. If this game does not excite every bone in your body then chances are your comatose my friend. So sit back and learn about the most explosive game to hit the scene in a while!
Story Line
This game is a prequel to the first and gives background on the main character. Like how he got his powers and why he does what he does for a living. Anyways the game starts off with Dante at home about to down some pizza, when a creepy dude invites him to a party. So Dante goes to this party while fighting enemies and meeting people along the way.
Game Play
The game consists of fighting demons and getting past obstacles such as puzzles, land briers like big walls and ledges or finding special items you need to advance in the game. The fighting style is amazing with both swords and guns to fight with and 6 different styles of fighting to pick from. The styles affect what types of moves you have and can receive during the game. My personal favorite aspect of the game play is the "Style Bar" which will gauge your style and originality in combat. So if you mix up your attacks the bar will go up, but if your repetitive with your moves it will go down. Also if your hit by an enemy your bar goes down all the way. The reason you do not want that to happen is cause having a high "Style Bar" rank will get you orbs which depending on the color can be used for things as petty as money to the much more rare things like an extra life. With the 6 different styles of fighting, 10 total weapons to level up and even some easter egg secrets to find, its obvious that Devil May Cry 3 does not lack at all in the game play area!
Game Play Rating: 10/10
Sound
The sound in this game is nothing short of perfect. It has battle rock and techno tracks which will really get you in the mood for fighting. It also does a great job of suiting the music to the location. Like if your in an eerie place you get creepy music. They have great voice overs and acting. Also the weapon sounds give an extra hint of realism to the game. So to be frank the sound rocks plain and simple!
Sound Rating: 10/10
Graphics
The graphics in this game are astounding. Clocked at 60 frames per second and armed with highly detailed environments which contain great reflections and lighting the game is a visual masterpiece. Add that to the fast load time and you have graphics that can really kill!

Controls
The controls are as follows, Left Analog (move), Right Analog (camera), Up D-pad (items screen), Right D-pad (maps), Down D-pad (weapons), Left D-pad (file screen),
X (jump), Circle (perform move styles), Square (shoot gun), Triangle (use Devil Arm which are none-projectile weapons), R1 (lock onto enemy), L1 (transform into demon form), R2 (toggle Devil Arms), L2 (toggle through guns). Although the control scheme is solid it involves multi-tasking which might give some gamers some problems.
