by   jeremy1456 , top reviewer in Games at Epinions.com ,  Dec 10, 2005
Pros: An Endless Experience With a Ton to Do, Multiplayer and Online Capabilities
Cons: Limited Options for Multiplayer and Online Multiplayer
The Bottom Line: Animal Crossing: Wild World is among the three best games for the Nintendo DS.
Review: Hi, my name is Jeremy and I'm an Animal Crossing addict. My story begins with the release of the wildly original game on the Gamecube in the latter half of 2002. I was instantly pulled in and could not escape it's grasp for many weeks. As one might ...

Animal Crossing: Won't you be my neighbor?

by   JulieLMatthews ,  Apr 2, 2006
Pros: Portable, tons to do, can be addictive to all ages
Cons: One game per card, no built-in "towns" for WiFi deficient folk
The Bottom Line: A great game for kids and for people who enjoy stress free but fun games. It's as addictive as Harvest Moon-that's a very good thing!
Review: It’s a wonderful day in my town. I dug up three fossils and two gyroids, then made friends with a rhinoceros and penguin who gave me a haz-mat barrel and classic wallpaper, respectively. What does this all mean? I’ve been playing this game way ...

Wild about Animal Crossing Wild World

by   becky2259 ,  Sep 17, 2006
Pros: This is a great non violent game for kids and adults of all ages
Cons: Ok it's really addicting.
The Bottom Line: Animal Crossing Wild World for the DS is one of the most entertaining video games I have ever played
Review: I got my Animal Crossing game bundled with the DS back in March, and have not played any other game. Animal Crossing is a great game for kids or women. My husband thinks it is boring because there is no boss to conquer. For me it is perfectly joyful fun. ...

by   jenareu ,  Nov 2, 2008
Pros: High-quality graphics for handheld system; "real-time" feature; Wi-Fi capabilities; interactive; suitable for all ages
Cons: Graphics sometimes appear jagged-lined
The Bottom Line: With its bright colors, appealing graphics, various interactive features, and "real-time" setting, I would definitely recommend Animal Crossing:Wild World to any- and everyone.
Review: My Nintendo DS was given to me as a gift in August 2007, and one of the first games I purchased for it was Animal Crossing: Wild World. Though it did take a while to learn the ways of the game (not to mention the DS itself) I found myself ...

Pros: FREE online mode, life sim game, no defined goals or objectives.

What time is it? Animal Crossing time!

by   xmodsguy ,  Mar 20, 2007
Pros: Plays in Real Time, Very Creative Gameplay, Huge Variety of Things to Do
Cons: Can Become Too Much of a Chore After a While
The Bottom Line: I recommend this game for people of all ages. Even if you aren't devoted to playing everyday, it's still fun to pick up and play every once in a while.
Review: Animal Crossing: Wild World for Nintendo DS is probably one of the most creative video games every created. Not only does it have cute little characters that walk around and talk to you, but it is based on real time. Even when you're not playing, things ...

AC: greatest game you'll ever know

by   jackieodonnell ,  Apr 26, 2006
Pros: Portability, internet play, formula kept the same
Cons: Nothing much changed from the first version.
The Bottom Line: You must try this game, it is almost impossible to explain its awesomeness.
Review: I was first exposed to Animal Crossing when it came out on the Gamecube. I turned it on and immediately I was drawn into this wacky world of Animals, the first being Tom Nook who supposedly helps you find a place to live and work. Nook is a business ...

Out with the Old, In with the New - A Transition That Brought Mixed Feelings

by   emmit_brown ,  Dec 31, 2005
Pros: Graphics, Customizations, Newer Items, Bigger Inventory, Online Friends, Non-Violent, Perfect for Kids and Adults.
Cons: Online Play, too many sacrifices were made to improvise the transfer to DS.
The Bottom Line: The new installment is better in many ways more than the GameCube version. Just don't expect everything to be in tact.
Review: Animal Crossing was an idea engaged by Nintendo, which began with its first entry “Animal Forest” – N64’s last project behind Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3. Although the N64 attempt didn’t muster too much profit from their first ...

The Bottom Line: Buy the game! It is worth the $35 and will provide hours of fun for many ages!
