Great for typical printing of photos and documents although a bit erratic

The Bottom Line: This printer prints excellent photos as long as you take the initial time to set it up and learn how to use it.
Review: I bought this printer when Staples had a sale, it was $129 at the time and I also purchased some 96 brightness 24 lbs. paper and a pack of their Photo Plus gloss 4x6 photo paper. I'm running XP Home on a fairly recent PC that have some parts beefed...

Great printer - difficult installation

The Bottom Line: I recommend this printer if you're able to download and configure the setup software without adequate instructions. The features are worth the effort involved.
Review: This is the 2nd HP printer I've owned, and it's a vast improvement over my old one, which was not a bad printer at all. I doubt if I'll ever even use all of the features it has, like scanning directly to a memory card.
