This updated edition releases Moore's work with Curt Swan, the artist who penned many of the best Superman stories in the 1950s through 1970s, as well as his collaboration "For the Man Who Has Everything" with Dave Gibbons, who would go on to be the illustrator for WATCHMEN. (And as bonus material, the editors have included Superman's first encounter with Moore's character Swamp Thing.) This is critical reading for anyone who calls herself a comics fan.

Goodbye, Superman:Whatever happened to the Man of Tomorrow?

The Bottom Line: Saying goodbye to the character who defined the word "superhero" for a quarter of a century, in style. Unmissable.
