The JVC Everio GZMG555 5MP 30GB Hard Disk Drive Camcorder features a 10x Optical Zoom and includes a Docking Station. Other features include a hard disk drive built-in, lightweight and compact a redesigned image processor for Everio G series incorporating 6 digital noise reduction systems to improve the S/N ratio by about 30% (3dB) over previous models. The JVC Everio GZMG555 offers the best picture quality available for each recording mode. With a built-in flash, the video light functions automatically so you can shoot stunning images even in low light situations. Professional quality that is easy and fun!

OK, but only worth your time if you are dead set on HDD

Disappointing. Mediocre compression. HORRIBLE SOFTWARE!

The Bottom Line: Until JVC allows you to use your own editing and burning software - AVOID!!! The bundled software is SO awful, that any possible benefit of convenience is eliminated.
Review: There were just too many frustrations to have to tolerate. I felt relieved, disburdened, when I decided to return it.
