The Zoom/Modem V.92 USB Mini Model 3090 is a compact, low-cost external modem that conforms to the new, higher performance ITU V.92 and V.44 standards. It connects to a Windows computer's Universal Serial Bus for the fastest and most convenient modem hookup yet! ??The USB Mini features an on-board DSP (Digital Signal Processor) for improved performance as well as four LED status display lights. It also includes Zoom's World Traveler feature, which can be easily set to adapt the modem to phone networks in over 185 countries by using a software utility provided with the modem.

Good modem after all

The Bottom Line: It is very good one but before installing anything, you should download the latest driver for it!
Review: I bought this modem before just about two weeks ago. I wanted external modem to free one PCI slot and also I thought that USB is better than serial connection.
