Speedy & Great Colors

The Bottom Line: After owning a color laser the Phaser 8500 is way faster and simpler. A keeper! Get the extended warranty!!!
Review: I previously owned a Phaser 850, and can really see the improvement in the newer Phaser solid ink printers.

Compared with the earlier model, the Phaser 8500 is faster, much quieter (earlier printer sounded like a boiler factory), warms up...

Good printer ... while it lasts.

The Bottom Line: It's a good quality printer, but the technology is spotty. Expensive to operate & maintain, breaks down often - and dies too quick.
Review: June 2006 - we needed a new printer to replace our Phaser 860. We loved the previous model phaser, that we decided to get a new one.

Now, it was pretty good - but - with issues.

I want to throw it out the window

Review: The WORST printer I have ever owned. I am a small business owner and it cost me $1,000 just to run this thing over the past year. I could have bought three printers with what I paid for ink alone.

And it is SLOW -- slower than the cheaper...
