Basic Whirlpool Top Load Washer

The Bottom Line: What a wonderful basic washer! Not all the bells & whistle, but enough to convince me to buy this model if I were shopping for one.
Review: After visiting our daughter for nearly two weeks, I used many of her appliances, and to help me with my review I took notes while I was using this Whirlpool WTW5300SQ Top Load Washer. I think my family thought I was nuts, walking around the house...

Whirlpool is Basic, But Works for the Money

The Bottom Line: If you are just looking for your clothes to be cleaned by a durable machine, than I recommend this machine.
Review: I purchased this washer several years ago when my previous dryer gave out. I decided to get a set at BestBuy. This was on sale at the time for $325.00.

The Bottom Line: Not recommended because the machine needs some improvements in the area of water temperature controls.
Review: I bought this Whirlpool WTW5300 washer to replace a 21 year old Maytag that was of far better quality. The Whirlpool is very noisy, but washes clothes adequately if you can get the water warm enough. The machine has an automatic temperature control...
