ENERGY STAR qualified to meet the Department of Energy standards for energy efficiency. Prior to the start of wash cycles, a highly concentrated dose of detergent is injected into fabrics. Works to penetrate stains and pre-treat soil. Only when the entire load has been treated with the concentrated cleaning lather does the wash cycle begin. As soon as the wash cycle is started, washers use various sensors to determine the size of the load and precisely how much water is needed to clean it. Heat sensors then monitor the temperature, and make sure water is warmed gradually to make cleaning enzymes optimally effective. Suds sensors also work to prevent over sudsing in the low water wash system. Adjusts the cold and hot water inlets to reach temperatures that are warm enough to dissolve detergents. But kept from overheating to help reduce shrinking and/or color bleeding. Keep operational sounds inside the washer and out of living areas with sound-absorbing materials around the wash basket of the drum. The interio
