Frustrating. Think I blew a fuse trying to deal with customer service.

The Bottom Line: Given the high temperature of the oven on self-clean mode, I fear now that it will self-destruct, no matter what I do. Will have to buy another brand.
Review: It's the self-cleaning feature that creates the problem. It's the lack off admission on the part of Whirlpool customer service that has made me so furious.

Review: Total piece of junk. Self clean cycle causes total oven non- function. Even with Whirlpool's upgrade cooling fix, every cleaning cycle burns out the flush mount SPDT thermostat, a $35.00 replacement part plus the service call if you cannot do the...

DO NOT BUY!

Review: We had this oven for 6 years, and used the "self-cleaning" feature twice and it burned out just before Thanksgiving this year. The manufacturer should retitle this "feature" as "SELF -DESCTRUCT" as that's basically what happens when you use it.
