Pros: Lets the chef join the party and cook items to proper doneness.
Cons: Need to remember to reset both devices at the same time when changing batteries.
The Bottom Line: Great product. Well worth the money!

Used with a Brinkmann Electric Smoker

Pros: Easy to use, and can be taken anywhere within 100 feet of the sending unit.
Cons: I cannot think of any cons.
The Bottom Line: My recommendation is buy.  Easy to use, and takes the guesswork out of cooking.
Review: I bought the Weber barbecue beeper digital thermometer at Sears for $30.  It works very well.  By using this device, did not have to keep going outside and opening the smoker to check the meat's status.  That actually cuts down on cooking ...
