Voodoo Island/Four Skulls of Jonathan Drake

VOODOO ISLAND: A 1950s B-movie whose charm stems from the absurdity of its plotline and ?ber-campy dialogue, this pseudo-shocker mixes elements of science fiction and horror, with a cast helmed by frightmeister Boris Karloff (FRANKENSTEIN). Phillip Knight is a well-known adventurer who investigates hoaxes and myths for a living. He is hired by Barney Finch (Murvyn Vye, A CONNECTICUT YANKEE IN KING ARTHUR'S COURT), a wealthy hotel magnate, to investigate tales of a voodoo curse on an island he wants to buy. Once there, however, Knight finds out that this is one supposed hoax that is actually true! Man-eating plants, a voodoo tribe, and zombies will all make an appearance before the hilariously anticlimactic d?nouement. Elisha Cook Jr., Rhodes Reason, and Beverly Tyler also co-star.
