Product Description

 
Nothing else on the road looks like the modern-day Beetle. This unique hatchback rides a 98.7-inch wheelbase, measures 161.1 inches long overall and stands 59 inches high, making it one of the taller compact cars on the market. Restyling for 2006 includes the front and rear fascias and fenders. The headlights and taillamps have been modified as well.

The Bottom Line: Newer diesels can run on biodiesel fuels which save money. They are cleaner than ever and very dependable.

The Bottom Line: If you have been waiting to buy a Beetle or Mini Cooper this is a great new option. Lots of power and great price tag.
Review: We previously had a 2000 New Beetle with a 2.0L 5sp with 80K miles. We decided we liked the updated looks especially the front and rear lower valences. So we bought a 2006.

The biggest and most notable improvement must be the new 2.5L 5...

2006 VW Beetle Convertible

The Bottom Line: Buy this car if there's only two of you and you have the 25k and want a fun, fast bug that turns heads. Probably a collector's item down the road.
Review: This is the third newer VW we have owned; we also had a 2002 Golf (great car!) and a 2001 Cabrio convert. And we've probably owned about a dozen old Beetles over the years. So we are quite familiar with VWs. This is one of the "funnest" cars we have...
