Product Description

 
The 2001 Volkswagen EuroVan is available in two models: GLS and MV. A new four-valve 2.8L VR6 engine generates 201 horsepower this year, and an electronic stability control system (ESP) ensures improved traction. A four-speed adaptive automatic transmission is standard for both GLS and MV models. The MV model comes equipped with a fluorescent light, snap-on side window curtins, and a fold-up table top. Optional features include a power sunroof, heated front seats, and pearlcoat exterior paint. The optional Weekender Package, available only on MV models, includes a two-person bed, a refrigerator, a pop-up roof, screen windows, and a heavy-duty alternator. The Weekender package also includes manual air conditioning and a second battery.

This one makes van number five !

The Bottom Line: Excellent value, quality finish, fun performance, vast improvement over VW products of yesteryear. I'm looking forward to the next generation of VW's Microbus!
Review: Say what you will, I worked for Honda and still drove a 1993 Eurovan because the Odessey was too much of a "glorified car." When I transfered to Toyota the Sienna had even less appeal.
I loved my big lumbering box! Yes the 93MV was quirky but...

Lamenting EuroVan Purchase!

THERE REALLY IS NOTHING MINI ABOUT IT

The Bottom Line: Distinctly German - fit and finish are beyond reproach, but if you are not amenable to the oddities of European cars, this one is not for you.
