Designed to deliver substantial bass output for Home Theater applications at a very affordable price, its 10" driver (8.2" piston diameter) is powered by a discrete-component 150-watt Dynamic Power (100 watt RMS) amplifier and is housed in a stylish, computer-assisted design cabinet. The front-firing 10" woofers output is enhanced by a carefully engineered rear mounted port to produce significant bass extension, output and impact. A Worthy Replacement to My Sony SA-WM20

The Bottom Line: Velodyne makes excellent subwoofers, their entry-level sub proves their reputation. Consider the room size when buying a subwoofer for your system because it can make or break your viewing/listening experience.
Review: Every time I watch a DVD where the LFE's (low frequency effects, aka the .1 or subwoofer response) on my receiver is going crazy, my Sony SA-WM20 just couldn't keep up. I start to hear distortion like paper ratting in the subwoofer. Because of this...
