Toyotas smallest cars are unchanged for 2004. Echo offers 2- and 4-dr sedans with a 4-cyl engine and manual or optional automatic transmission. ABS, front side airbags, and power steering are optional. Also available are 15-inch wheels to replace 14s, a power windows/door locks package, tachometer, in-dash CD changer, split folding rear seatback, and an interior Chrome Package with bright silver-colored accents.

Great inexpensive little car

Pros: Affordable, reliable, great on gas, easy to park in tight spots.

Cons: Not very powerful, difficult to maintain steady speeds on hills.

The Bottom Line: Excellent car, as long as you understand what you're getting! It's not for everyone, but makes a great car for some people.
