Tohatsu's new, clean-running 6-HP four-stroke engines not only meet the tough EPA 2006 standards for outboard emissions, they provide powerful, smooth-running performance and impressive fuel economy, using less than half a gallon of fuel per hour when run wide open at 5-6,000 RPM. Weighing in at just 55 lbs., Tohatsu's 6-HP four-stroke motors are among the lightest in their class. Features include a well-engineered lubricating system, thermostatically controlled water cooling, through the prop exhaust, as well as advanced Engine Overrun and Oil Pressure caution indicator systems to warn of unsafe engine conditions. Shallow water drive allows you to run the motor in a different position for shallow waters. Geared with Forward, Neutral, and Reverse for convenient operation. 3.1 gallon external fuel tank included. Both short and long shaft models available.
