Review: THE SURVIVOR'S CLUB was my introduction to Lisa Gardner, and what an explosive introduction! It had all of the things I enjoy in a book: thrilling story, suspense, mystery, a wide variety of characters, and a touch of romance.

The Bottom Line: I've read worse, I suppose; this seems like the literary version of recent Ashley Judd movies. Everything is in place, balanced precariously like a child's toy tower carelessly piled up.
