"The Privilege Of Youth": Dave Pelzer's Triumphant Story

Pros: Easy read, Pelzer's got a great way with words, funny and sad simultaneously.
Cons: None worth mentioning.
The Bottom Line: A must-read for anyone who likes coming of age stories, or anyone who feels down in the dumps, or...anyone, period. Read this book.

Continuing life story of Dave Pelzer aka A child called it

Pros: Wonderful tale of perserverence and the will to overcome adversity
Cons: omit the mentors writings; other than that, none
The Bottom Line: If you have read his previous works, pick up where they have left off especially if you have a teenage boy!
Review: I hope I can do this review justice as I have followed Pelzer's books and read his case history (which has become required reading within almost all states' child protective service offices). This story is told in the first person; there is no tone to ...
