Pros: New rules, units, Wonders, Civilizations, scenarios
Cons: Not enough of the above and the combat system is a joke
The Bottom Line: Civ IV: Warlords is reluctant buy, largely because the $20 isn't very painful. There is nothing revolutionary here, but just enough to keep the fans happy.

Variety Is The Spice of Civ

Pros: Excellent additions and tweaks to the actual gameplay. Genuine changes which add variety.
Cons: Perhaps a little light on the genuinely new content.
The Bottom Line: Not the most chock-full expansions of all time, but certainly one with the biggest of impacts and improvements on gameplay. A must for fans of Civ 4.

Pros: Many new, well thought out additions.
Cons: Forces you to change your favorite strategies.
