Product Description

 
The Impreza is carried over with minimal changes for 1999. Five models continue to be offered; two coupes, one sedan and two wagons. The RS Coupe features a higher performance engine, sport tuned suspension, over-size rear spoiler and standard 16-inch wheels. An Outback Wagon is available that boasts a higher ground clearance suspension, two-tone paint, white lettered tires and a roof rack. All models feature air conditioning, power windows and power door locks as standard equipment. The Gauge Pack is optional on all models and includes an outside temperature gauge, compass, barometer and altimeter. Optional equipment includes a keyless entry system, an upgraded security system and a compact disc player.

Review: In the UK, Subaru transformed their image from worthy, reliable, 4WD utility car makers to supercar manufacturers almost overnight with the World Rally Championship winning Impreza turbo.
Impreza turbos had been around for a while in 220bhp UK...

The Bottom Line: A good choice if you need AWD and can't afford an Audi A4. If you don't need AWD, you can probably do better for the price.
Review: This review is on a 1999 Subaru Impreza Outback Sport, auto transmission, which I purchased new. It currently as about 85,000 miles on it. If you ever come up to Vermont, you will notice many many Subarus on the road, including this particular...
