Two pianos don't entirely make a Rite

The Bottom Line: Stravinsky's 2-piano arrangement of the Sacre is a curiosity -- fabulous but still a curiosity. If you want this version, get this version or the Frith/Hill on Naxos.

The Bottom Line: Superb account of a short piece that contains more energy than your average Jet-Engine. An accoustic delight and rhytmic feast!
Review: You may or may not know Stravinsky's "Le Sacre du Printemps" - The Rite of Spring - in it's ballet form. It is rather popular these days - but at the premiere it caused on of the greatest scandals in music-history.
