Like the 2003 animated short films of the same name, STAR WARS: THE CLONE WARS reveals what happened during the conflicts of the title, which are set between EPISODE II: ATTACK OF THE CLONES and EPISODE III: REVENGE OF THE SITH. Unlike the former series, this CLONE WARS feature film uses computer animation (rather than more traditional 2-D animation) to tell its tales, which follow Obi-Wan Kenobi (voiced by James Arnold Taylor), Anakin Skywalker (Matt Lanter), and precocious new Jedi recruit Ahsoka Tano (Ashley Eckstein) as they face off against the sinister Separatist forces led by Count Dooku (the legendary Christopher Lee, who reprises his role from the live-action movies). The film also features appearances by such beloved characters as Mace Windu (Samuel L. Jackson, also of EPISODES II and III), C3PO (Anthony Daniels), and Yoda (Tom Kane).

My husband took the kids to watch The Clone Wars on Saturday, so here is my 4 year old's review. He has seen Star Wars, parts of Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi. I haven't let him watch the newer movies, becasue of the increased violewnce, and was interested when I saw the Previews for the Clone Wars. So if you are wondering if the movie is interesting, check out his opinion. Pros: Good to have a new Star Wars movie, Rated PG, and not a concern to take the kids to, He really liked the movie Cons: STOP WITH THE STAR WARS TOYS, ENOUGH TOYS ALREADY

I think that this film is clearly aimed at children and as such, it was pretty boring for me. I was hoping for a movie that filled in some of the gaps and built upon the Star Wars films that have been made so far. Instead, this movie seemed to focus on annoying characters and a flimsy plot. While I do not think adult fans of Star Wars should rush to see this one, kids will like it. The animation is decent and they will be intrigued by the storyline. Pros: Star Wars. Simply doing it for the money. This movie is lacking in everything that use to make the franchise of Star Wars mesmerizing, magical, and entertaining. Star Wars the clone wars is a horrible film. The only pluses it has is that it uses some of our old favorite characters but it does it in such a bad way that it almost sickens meThe grapics are alright at best and the story is pretty weak. This is especially bad when taken compared to some of the Star Wars video games. Knights of the old republic had better plot and graphics and would have made a better movie Pros: It used some of our favorite characters like Obi Wan and Anakin Cons: The grapics were subpar, The story was lame, The movie felt like it was aimed at pre-teens
