Product Description

 
A high definition video projector for the ultimate home theater experience, the new Sony VPL-HS51 produces incredible high-contrast images with the true-life accuracy of 3 LCD technology. Advanced iris function enables the projector to dynamically adjust the video image according to the level of the input signal. This results in high contrast ratio of up to 6000:1, along with reproduction of the most subtle details. The HS51 also incorporates three proprietary 720p LCD panels that provide 2,764,800 pixel resolution (1280x720) optimized for HD video input.

Review: I have (had) one of these projectors. Had to send it in for repair twice within 2 years, that's $100 out of my pocket for shipping each time.
First time, it was premature lamp failure.
Second time it was the Green LCD Panel and the Blue...
