The only VCR you can program without the TV on!

Pros: You don't need the TV on to program the VCR

Good price, good picture, some confusion.

Pros: Sony quality picture and operation, good price.

Cons: Annoying eject button delay-time, confusing connectivity.

The Bottom Line: I generally stay away from combo units, but I trust the sony brand. Buy it if you want a VCR and DVD with progressive scan at a good price.
