Hi-res sound at a reasonable price

The Bottom Line: Even without SuperAudio CD's, my music sounds great on Sony's SCD-CD595 5-Disc Changer.

Fine sacd player, great value

The Bottom Line: This is a fine SACD and good CD changer, well worth the $142 paid. Four stars only because no experience with competing brand units.
Review: Bought this SACD changer a few months ago, so now have good experience with it and a dozen classical and jazz SACD's. The SACD feature, with a SACD disc of course, in 2-channel mode, does seem to add some detail, naturalness and spaciousness...

Reliability problems prevents it's having any use.

Review: All seem to have the flaw of audio drop-outs. At random places on your SACD, the music just disappears, for 5-15 seconds, then reappears. I have 2, both have been in the Sony repair shop 4 times each, and finally Sony threw in the towel replacing...
