CLIE PEG-SJ33 : More compelling design but still pricey for the regular consumer

Pros: 16MB, excellent screen, MP3 player, hard cover, faster processor, small shape
Cons: expensive, buttons are small again
The Bottom Line: A solid handheld that has a few flaws and other minor issues, it gets the job done and some extra as well.

Perhaps the ideal upgrade for an old, monochrome Palm PDA?

Pros: Fast, gorgeous screen, small form factor, priced well, Memory Stick, good MP3 and photo software
Cons: Painted plastic bezel, lightweight stylus, full Macintosh usage requires extra-cost software, some iffy ergonomics
The Bottom Line: Some ergonomics and materials issues aside, it's a tremendous product, fairly priced, incorporating all the basic functions you need along with some multimedia pizzaz, in a small and appealing package.

The best SL/SJ model yet

Pros: Innovative design, MP3 player, 16 mb, Jog Dial, software suite
Cons: Memory Stick expansion, slight blue tint on the screen
The Bottom Line: This is a great palm with very minor problems; and now that it has been discontinued you can find it very cheap - perfect gift for your son or nephew

Review: The Clie SJ33 is the latest, and possibly the last with the introduction of the TJ series, in Sony's budget-conscious SL/SJ series. It also happens to be my personal favorite Palm, until I got the Tungsten E to play around with.
