Recorded at East Iris Studios, Tennessee. This is an Enhanced CD, which contains both regular audio tracks and multimedia computer files. Audio Mixer: Andy Wallace. Recording information: East Iris Studios, TN; New Reflection, TN. The music of Systematic, as represented on the quartet's debut album SOMEWHERE IN BETWEEN is clearly not your father's heavy metal. Though they're obviously influenced by the likes of Metallica, the band has more in common with contemporaries like System of a Down, fusing metallic crunch and old-school melodic sensibilities with a very modern approach to heavy rock. Great Hard Rocking CD

The Bottom Line: I definitely recommend buying this album. Great riffs, great vocals, and just a great mix of songs. May take a couple of listenings to let it sink in though.

The Bottom Line: With a nice mix of heavy and more melodic tracks, this is a great all-around album of aggression, beauty, and inspiration, all told in the language of hard rock.
