The Bottom Line: Do your homework before buying this product.
Review: I purchased this product from Fry's Electronics (Outpost.com on the internet). I picked it because it had the 12,000 BTU output and was normally priced at $549.00, but was on sale for $499.99 with a $50 rebate. Thinking that you get what you pay...

Review: Cools our large living- and family room without problems - but not enough for whole house.
Bulky but easy to hook up exhaust ducts - but that's what you get at 12000 BTU
I've read the other reviews and don't agree, I'm very happy with this A/C...

This Soleus portable air conditioner can operate as a heater, dehumidifier and fan as well and does not need permanent installation. The Soleus LX-120 dual-hose portable air conditioner comes with a window kit that is compatible with sliding windows and sliding doors up to approximately 8 feet long. Additional features include sleep mode, a compressor indicator light and an emergency condensate holding tank. A 1 year limited warranty comes standard.
