Carl Hiaasen's Skin Tight is not up to his usual standard

The Bottom Line: If you find murder in an array of unexpected forms entertaining, you'll like this book. Otherwise, you might want to pass.
Review: I live in Florida and I share Carl Hiaasen's concern that overdevelopment and too many tourists have spoiled much of what makes this state special. Even though he brings out that thinking in his novels, I usually find his work highly entertaining...

Review: The characters are wacky. The plot is hilarious. Far out as the story is...it's still believable, as one gets a sense that Hiaason lifts actual headlines from daily life in Florida.
