Product Description

 
A tough as nails New York magazine editor (Anne Heche) is surprised when her boyfriend (David Schwimmer) pulls the romantic stunt of spontaneously buying tickets for a romantic South Pacific getaway. The trip seems to be shiny and happy until they find out that a grizzled curmudgeonly pilot (Harrison Ford) is their sole option for reaching their final destination, the remote island of Marcata. Along the way the bickering couple finds themselves stranded on a desert island, threatened by pirates, and ultimately, falling in love. A fun romantic comedy with good comic performances from Ford and Heche.

I want to see the sequel - just kidding!!!

The Bottom Line: Watch it for the romance, and laugh a few times. Just don't expect too much meat - Where's the beef?
Review: Previews of this movie presented an action packed love story, and once I actually saw the movie on the "Encore" channel, I'm glad I didn't pay to see it in the theater! (running time of 101 minutes).
