Product Description

 
Sue Shihomi, often a co-star with the better known Sonny Chiba, stars in the title role in SISTER STREET FIGHTER. Shihomi plays Tina Long, a female karate master looking for her missing brother. She discovers from the police that he was an undercover agent working with them to bust a heroin ring, and she agrees to assist the cops in order to find him. But to defeat the onslaught of bizarre hitmen who come gunning for her, she must enlist the help of Sonny (played by Chiba), another karate master. Tina and Sonny race to find her brother and stop the drug kingpin, leaving a trail of broken and bloodied bodies in their wake.

Brief Nudity and Lots of Violence and Blood

The Bottom Line: This 1974 Karate/martial arts film has a storyline similar to some James Bond movies at the time. The action is entirely predictable, but some scenes are nicely choreographed.

The Bottom Line: SS is a fun movie for mostly the wrong reasons. The only thing intentionally entertaining about it is the fights.
