Representing the next evolution of Sharp’s Aquos line of LCD televisions, the LC-42D62U produces a gorgeous 1080p picture on a elegant, glossy black panel that’s low profile enough to blend into any room in the house. A 1200:1 contrast ratio and 6ms response time deliver a wide range of colors and crisp, blur-free high definition images. The 176 degree viewing angle makes every spot in the room a sweet-spot, and high brightness (450 cd/m) guarantees solid contrast levels even in brightly lit rooms or in direct sunlight.

Sharp LCD amazing picture as long you are HD.

The Bottom Line: Sharp still makes the best LCD. Sony and others will not let Sharp rest. As it should be and great for all of us.

The Bottom Line: I would buy this set again and would consider the Sharp Aquos brand for future purchases. We have had good experiences with Sharp in the past.
