"And Just Like That, I Lost My Head" - Sex, Lies... and Shoes

Pros: Plenty of humorous observations mixed with engaging and believable soap-styled plots.

Cons: Too much reliance on 'dramatic pull' means that the dialogue has decreased in quality.

The Bottom Line: Another strong year of "Sex and the City", season three tries ambitious new things - and manages to succeed.

"Sex" Changes

Pros: The cast; the writers; the directors; the abundant special features

Cons: Michael Patrick King's commentaries on episodes 10-12 resemble monotonously nightmarish renditions of Books-On-Tape.

The Bottom Line: A great product for those without cable, and especially for those who are curious to see the show but never have. It's a fantastic purchase that's worth the price.

Review: Change is good.

At least that's what writer/director/creator Darren Star seems to believe. If he didn't, his highly successful and critically-acclaimed HBO cable series "Sex and the City" most likely wouldn't have taken home the Emmy Award...
