From Sennheiser, the KickPack microphone package includes the E602 kick drum microphone, stand and 21-foot (6.40m) cable. The KickPack is a convenient, ideal solution for bass drum capturing in professional and project studio recording as well as sound- reinforcement. The E602 kick drum microphone features a dynamic cardioid element and is specifically optimized to accurately reproduce kick drums with punch and detail. The frequency response and sensitivity will reproduce low frequencies with great accuracy while the cardioid polar pattern minimizes noise and audio at the off-axis sections of the capsule. A hum compensation coil eliminates low frequency electrical hum and noise.
