The Selmer Paris Series III Alto Saxophone is the epitome of a superb saxophone. Selmer Paris has gone back to some of the design features that made the Mark VI legendary, and it shows. One of the most immediately noticeable changes is the reduction in the size and weight of the ribs by 30%, resulting in better resonance and a slightly brighter sound. The constituency of the brass has also been improved, with a higher copper content and less zinc, further improving the tone and resonance. Overall, this is another brilliant display of Selmer Paris engineering and craftsmanship.
