I have used this radio in my hobby since 1998

Pros: Has good overload handling with big huge shortwave antennas.

Cons: Does not go down to 100 kHz.

The Bottom Line: The main reason why I recommend this radio is that is has everything that a SWL needs to do the right listening session even has world time.

Review: I have used this radio in my hobby since I have owned the DX-390 shortwave radio receiver. I think this is a better radio for intermediate to advanced DXers. I also use this radio all the time during my longwave radio listening sessions to hear ...

SHORTWAVE SIGNAL WEAK

Pros: audio quality is good,in general is a good radio,only shortwave has poor reception.

Cons: High consumption of battery
