The 60 standard monopod with ballhead supports cameras weighing 2.5 pounds on the ballhead or up to 7 pounds on the platform provided on the cap. The ballhead is actually a mini tripod that is hidden inside the handle of the monopod. The mini tripod disconnects from the inside of the tripod handle to be used as a tabletop tripod for added versatility or close-up shots. The Monopod Duo is designed for photographers who need a tabletop and full size monopod for a variety of applications.
