Great Alternative While Waiting for Blu-Ray or HD-DVD

The Bottom Line: I highly recommend this player to those who want an inexpensive upconverting unit. It gets four 1/2 stars for not including an optical digital output.
Review: I've recently purchased a 50" LG Plasma and wanted an upconverting DVD that will fully use the the HD resolution of the TV. I initially bought a Toshiba SD-4980, that was on sale at Costco for $79. I did not see much of a difference in picture...
