Product Description

 
Range Rover and the County. Both 4-door wagons came with a 178-horsepower, 3.9-liter V8 engine, mated to a 4-speed automatic transmission. Permanently engaged 4-wheel drive was standard. Antilock brakes were standard on County models, but unavailable on base Range Rovers.

A tank, very classy SUV

The Bottom Line: If you ahve the money to maintain and can afford the gas, do it. You need a garage too to keep out of weather.
Review: I bought this Rover with 124,000 in it and had it for 2 years. I sold it last October with 156,000 miles on it. It was a county SWB. The repairs I did on it were as follows, Both belt tensioners, complete overhaul on the stereo reciever & CD changer...

The Bottom Line: Unless you have some obsession with wasting lots of time and money, avoid this car at all costs.
Review: I bought my car from a wholesaler in August of 2002. As of now, only over a year later, the car is basically dead.
