John Kricfalusi broke new ground in television comedy with his 1990s cartoon series REN & STIMPY. Centered around the misadventures of a highstrung chihuahua and his dimwitted feline companion, REN & STIMPY rendered fourth-grade-level gross-out jokes about mucus, flatulence, tooth decay, and other bodily functions in an uncomfortably graphic style of animation that invited both laughter and squirms of revulsion. Kricfalusi's edgy humor quickly vaulted the series into the highest echelons of cult fandom; and although he left the show after only two seasons, his legacy can still be felt in cartoons ranging from SOUTH PARK to SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS. This collection features nine lost Kricfalusi episodes (including four that have never been seen before) that are particularly ribald and definitely not for the kiddies.

Ren and Stimpy Revisited

The Bottom Line: Ren and Stimpy fans stay loyal to this cartoon and give it a chance.
Review: For those who hit adolescence (or just before) in the early 1990's Ren & Stimpy was a significant cartoon in our lives.
Like Beavis & Butthead, Ren & Stimpy provided us with a pair of societal outcasts just trying to have a good time. It lasted...

The Bottom Line: If you love cartoons, especially if you love to study great funny drawings, you can't go wrong.
Review: I'm not going to say anything bad about "Ren and Stimpy - The Lost Episodes", because what is clearly right about them is so far in excess of any other available modern animated cartoon product, that in this context, what might be considered wrong...
