I too was very disappointed with this player. It has stopped reading cds and wont play some of my cdg's also. It takes forever to actually load a disk when it decides to work. It is basically a waste of $100 bucks.  I know the price...

Great Karaoke Player, Bad DVD Player

Pros: Key change karaoke feature; two mics included; plays all types of discs.
Cons: DVD sound and vision are often out of synch; instruction manual incomplete and poorly translated.
The Bottom Line: HIGHLY recommended as a karaoke player; will serve you well in that regard. NOT recommended as a DVD player; be sure to have a backup DVD player.
