The Bottom Line: Sapphire scoops pain and hope from Harlem s streets and deposits them within the pages of Push. Hard but honest, heart-melting struggle to fulfill protagonist s potential against all odds.

The Bottom Line: This book would be good for a person interested in psychology, psychiatry, social work, uprisings and leisure reading.
Review: A powerful book by a powerful author. Sapphire has written a story during his days in Africa, about a young female named Precious who is 16 years old and has 2 children by her father.

It's funny, one would automatically think, her father!...
